Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (Pvt) Ltd and The Natural Choice (PVT) Ltd have officially united to commercialize a groundbreaking antimicrobial nano-technology for mattresses.
On August 10th, 2023, a momentous milestone was achieved as both companies finalized a Technology Transfer agreement, empowering The Natural Choice (PVT) Ltd to introduce SLINTEC’s cutting-edge antimicrobial nano-technology to the market.
SLINTEC’s pioneering development of ‘Antimicrobial Nano-Coating for Mattresses’ can be applied to surfaces, providing robust protection against bacteria and other disease-causing germs.
Through collaborative endeavors, this nano-technology has been seamlessly integrated into mattresses, heralding a new era of antimicrobial protection and potentially revolutionizing the mattress industry!
The committed team at Natural Choice (Pvt.) Ltd, including CEO Chaminda Edirisinghe, Executive Director Bawantha Liyanage, and Manager Dinusha Pathirage (Quality Assurance & R&D), led the charge in this collaborative initiative.
Representing SLINTEC, the team included Dr. Thushara Vajera Perera (CEO of SLINTEC), Dr. Sanjeewa Wijesinghe (Senior Scientist), Eugene Maheshi Fernando (Assistant Manager – Business Development), Shanika Galappaththi (Consultant – Technology Transfer), and Irandi Munasinghe (Executive Business Development).
