SLINTEC signs an agreement with CODEGEN for Domestic Renewable Energy Storage Applications

Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology Pvt Ltd (SLINTEC) and Codegen International Pvt Ltd (CODEGEN) has signed an agreement to conduct research on development of a flow battery for domestic renewable energy storage applications. The research phase of the project commenced on the 1st of October 2020 and is set to conclude in February 2021.

SLINTEC is a public-private partnership between the Government of Sri Lanka and major players in the private sector; namely MAS Holdings, Brandix Lanka Ltd, Dialog Axiata, Hayleys PLC, Camso Loadstar (Pvt) Ltd, Lankem Ceylon PLC, LOLC PLC and Browns & Company PLC.
